The Pirates of Penzance Asbury Park Theatre reviews
Concert was great! Ticket check-ins didn’t have signs
The Pirates of Penzance concert was a good event, but parking was a hassle due to the event staff and police not being able to direct us to our paid parking spot. We couldn’t find the lot#8 garage even after driving around town at least 10 times. The concert area check-in location was not labeled, with no signs directing us where to go. Many people walked to the far end of the park, which was only for physical tickets. We ended up walking an extra 1/2 mile to get our tickets scanned in two different places, which was a good idea for security. I think all of the construction in the downtown area contributed to the parking issues. We had to pay to park in a different cash-only lot at the GreenTree Inn parking levels. Overall, I believe everyone did a good job for such a large event. I’m glad we went.
